I was pretty surprised they pitched to Melton in that spot. Ober on deck, more likely swing and miss, more likely double play.

I’d have to look at the stats, but off the top I would say that Melton had a good series. Some good ABs and good defense.

I was pretty surprised that they pitched those last two pitchers in that spot - our bullpen seemed barely touched, and theirs seemed out of gas. It's not a gauntlet, it's more like a Gatling gun. |
