We need a healthy Kennedy Brown to match up with a team like Stanford. Also can't be facing them in 3rd game in 3 days, while they have played only 1 before.

I know Kennedy wants to be a four, but in certain matchups I think she'll see time at center next year, especially when it isn't a good matchup for Jelena.

Not that it mattered much, but anyone else notice Brink shoots her first three of the game up by almost 30 w a few minutes left? Not even sure why she’d even be in at that point. A few other starters were still in and bombing away too. I guess ol’ Tara isn’t quite as disciplined in her old age

She should be there to fill in at the 5 when needed. Especially defensively against a post like Brink. Jelena has her limitations, but will get better. We should be stronger inside next year.

The Hulls are relentless. I think there must be more than 2 of them. Now that's funny!

We have some great film to review and prepare for the NCAA Tournament. I saw some amazing defense in the half court tonight from OSU. Really great defense. And tonight, I'd give the game ball to Taya Corosdale. She was an absolute beast on defense. Name a defender that has ever shut down Haley Jones? Taya did tonight, and was great in help defense to her teammates.
We got beat as bad as we did because we didn't take care of the ball, and, we didn't get back on defense. Stanford had so many easy baskets in transition, but when we were defending in the half court, we were good (at least in the 1st half). I believe OSU will get better from this experience. I will root hard for Stanford in the NCAA playoffs, until they meet us again.
So many airballs and "clanks" tonight. Some were tired legs, and some were nerves. We're going to need Aleah to manage the game better from the point, and, I think coaches need to change it up and let TvO run the point as well. Our offense became too predictable, and, we dribbled too much. But, I'm confident we will come out of this better. We have great players, and coaches, that find positivity from each game. Looking forward to our team making some headlines in the NCAA Tournament.

The Beavs got crushed, but what a great run over the past 6 weeks. I think this is a sweet 16 level team, as long as we don’t get an 8 or 9 seed. I expect we will get a 9 or a 10, but would love to see us get an 11 or 12.
Stanford is just the much better team, with the best coach in history. That why we lost. They took away every one of our strength. From each player individually and as a team. They made life miserable for Aleah. They made Sasha and Talia look like Freshman. They were so much more athletic at the 4 and 5 position getting every lose ball, blocking shots, and outrunning is down the court. We hung close for a bit, because they were not making any 3 pointers. Once they started hitting 3’s, the game went from 10 to 25 really quick.
Fatigue was a factor, but we lost because they are better. That’s it. They will definitely make a very deep run in San Antonio.

Wow watching that game was distressing. They exploited our weaknesses and we had no answer. Yes we are good. Yes we played three Days in a row. We have a project in Jelena. She does not belong out there amongst Tall quick players. Missing one player affects us. Even wi Th that and with our pg last Year I see no way with the experience we have. They beat us in the 2 nd quarter. They had 4 layups. Beating us down the floor. Now tell Me honestly folks.... Would You rather play for a team that is fast and athletic? Would You rather play for a team that is not? That kind of game should not happen. We all have excuses. Bottom line what I saw from quarter 2 was Night and Day. Our halftime adjustments momentarily helped. They wore us out. That is why they chucked up 3 ‘s in the 4 Th quarter. Some of You wanted them to play nice. We never established defence and got out rebounded and out hustled all Night. Not out coached. We were out talented.

Had not watched Stanford all year , but - that is one talented and well rounded women's team ! They were all over us on defense and that plays havoc with anyone's game plan . We played like they were just any other team , and - they are NOT ! Embarrassment of Riches ! They said that Tara expects everyone back next year -- OUCH !

I'm sure Tara fully expects that Furd will rule the PAC12 again next year, and they might, and probably won't give the Beavs much of a chance to challenge after running us out of the gym this year. Next year the Beavs will be a different and much better team, and will have games to get experience for our still raw rookies. With Kennedy back and newbies coming, I'm betting that Tara will be surprised to see us actually compete with them next year, or maybe not. Their confidence level is such that they have little doubt they are the best team on the floor every game, hope that changes next year... We ran into a buzz saw after playing three in a row, gutty performance to get there, now hope for a good draw in the dance....

I guess ol’ Tara isn’t quite as disciplined in her old age I’m never offended by the other team trying to score points in a 40 minute basketball game. Unless it’s on the last possession with the game in hand. In my mind it would be more disrespectful for them to intentionally coast on us. I believe Brink’s three pointer came with five + minutes to go in the fourth quarter.

This is a very good game for the young players to see really what they need to work on. Sasha really needs to work on her ball handling in the off season. If she can tighten her handle it will really open up her game. If she could run the high screen game occasionally it would be a huge boost to the offense. TVO will really need to work on her conditioning. When she gets tired she gets really lazy defensively. Savanah has the athleticism to compete with a team like Stanford, but needs to improve her control and shooting. All three will really benefit from a full off-season in the practice facility.
Taya was great defensively, really took Jones out of the game but Stanford has so many weapons it doesn’t matter. Williams, Wilson, and the Hulls really disrupted the high screen game. Aleah couldn’t force them into the screen, so that was tough.
Scott tried to go small in the 3rd quarter to see if 5 shooters might open up the offense but it didn’t work. Taylor really needs to be on the floor as much as possible against the best teams for the Beavs to be their best.
The nice thing is the young players can improve. Jones has gotten SO much better at passing and recognizing double teams. Kennedy coming back will be a huge boost as well. Jones is a solid defender. Brown is a GREAT defender.

I'd pay some serious bucks to see that 2016 UConn team play this Stanford 2021 team. Just sayin'.
This was my first time watching Stanford this year and I can't believe anyone beat them. I bet they crush UCLA tonight.

A few other starters were still in and bombing away too. I guess ol’ Tara isn’t quite as disciplined in her old age Brink played 30 minutes last night. Goodman played 36 minutes (and had a -33 point differential when she was on the floor). When the game was essentially over at the end of the third quarter, Rueck could have sat Goodman and limited her minutes. It isn't Tara's responsibility to stop her own team. Stanford is a very disciplined team on both ends of the floor and Tara should receive primary credit for that.
