Some incoming Beavs and other kids on our radar competed at the Rumble in Arizona last weekend. That might not be the exact name but close enough... Some big names wrestled over the weekend.
Of note:
120 lbs Mauro Michel (4th)
126 lbs Nash Singleton (5th)
138 lbs Chance Lamer (1st)
170 lbs James Rowley (5th or 6th, final bracket never updated). Gabe Arnold (Wyoming Seminary) who will be one of the top class of 2023 kids in the nation took 1st, Cael Valencia took 2nd. Rowley lost 7-3 to Arnold in the semis.
182 lbs Asher Ruchti (Beav signee - 1st!) Ruchti beat Cole Rees (Campbell signee) 5-1 in the finals. Rees was ranked #7 in the nation by FloWrestling at 182 and has a pretty strong resume. That's a big win.
195 lbs Kodiak Stephens (Beav signee - 4th). Stephens lost to the champ and NC State signee brock DelSignore in the semis..
I thought I heard Gabe Whisenhunt out with a broken hand at the moment...
