That might've been the worst half inning of base running in Oregon State Baseball history.... I think we had one about like it in Omaha in 2018 against Arkansas. Casey had no business heading for third; Ober was right in stopping because the GCU shortstop had it backed up. |

As the 3rd base coach, part of your communication with the runner at 2nd is to make sure the runner from 3rd goes. DO NOT FORCE HIM TO RUN. Yes I meant to shout. |

Salgado, Mulholland or Verberg to finish it? Letting Salgado go gives him a little more work, which is good. With a 2-run lead (just saw Claunch light it up), maybe we stick with him. But Mully would be a welcome sight in this tight game. |
