Kind of a blah game. I was concerned with bases loaded no outs with Boyd and Dern both looking rather weak why we didn't see a squeeze. Jake P, was good but was up a good deal of the time. Turned out fine and we get the win.

My continuing conclusion is that Mitch is committed to a process and shows confidence in everyone he puts out there. He's also either very confident in this teams ability to win games with that approach or he values player development right up there with wins and losses at this point in the season. |

I tend to agree that player development and player evaluation are important to the coaches at this point of the season. Wasn’t it Casey who said players filled out the lineup. Made his choices for him.
