Lots of interesting stuff their. Paopao has been unlucky in the win category. Charlisse Leger-Walker is a good player, volume scorer, but not a very good FG%. Weird that UCLA has won POTW award 4 times and USC 3 times, but Stanford only once.

I kinda think Brink is truly the best Fr., but agree Leger-Walker is gonna run away w/ FOY. Hard to ignore her leading the conference in scoring, even though she's inefficient.

Leger-Walker, Brink, Goforth, and Pao Pao are the four locks IMO.
It’s somewhat hard for me to justify Daniels or Onyiah because of how bad Cal is. Daniels is a player though.
I’m not sure if von Oelhoffen is eligible or not, but I do like Formann at Colorado and Sadler at Washington. Simmons has been solid at ASU and I’m sure there have been a few others.

If Talia isn't eligible this year, I'll be very impressed if anybody is able to wrestle it away from her next year.

Just because I am WAY to big of a Sasha fan to let it ride, her real stats are .409 FG and .353 from 3. Her 3-14 weekend shooting really brought down her percentages. That's ok, the Beavs won and Sasha is still a stud. Scott told the TV crew at the USC game that Sasha may be the most explosive player he has ever coached. That says a lot considering who he has coached. Good catch. This was my first time using the table feature and it looks like something got deleted some of Sasha stats got moved over to the left. That matches what I have for her in my spreadsheet. (Really wish I would have just pasted that).

I think there are some good players on this list, and I know I'm biased but I just think Sasha and Talia and just special. The only player I think long term is in their company is Brink, and because of what we already have on the roster I wouldn't trade them for her. (But if she wants to transfer we can make room. )

The Beavs really need Aleah to return next year for her 5th season. Otherwise, OSU will only have 1 point guard in 2021-22 (Talia). Beavs will have a boat load of 2 guards..but can one of them fill in behind Talia?? The 2021 recruiting class includes Greta Kampschroeder but she is listed as a shooting guard or small forward. Without Aleah, they would/will have to sign a transfer PG in the upcoming off season. Furthermore, it looks to me OSU still must get a good point guard in the 2022 class which has Adlee Blacklock (a 2 guard) and Reagan Beers (a center). Adlee is most commonly listed as a SG, but at lease one website lists her as a "combo guard", suggesting she can play some point...but how well???

It would definitely be convenient if Aleah came back for a 5th year. But if I’m remembering correctly, Greta sometimes brings the ball up for her high school team. If we are unable to land a transfer point guard in the off-season, maybe Greta/Sasha will be able to cover Talia while she’s on the bench.

From what I am hearing aleah will be back for another year. Ellie Mack not sure about. Mack is really playing well but her coming back would really create a plying time issue.

I think she will likely return for another year, but you never know what opportunities could arise for such a talented player. I’m not counting on her returning until it’s officially announced.

One: Aleah coming back would be great for the team, and great for her. She's turned into an absolute prime-time player this year. Next year she would be something between star player and Graduate Assistant. 5 years with Rueck will probably land her an assistant coaches job at any number of small colleges - and if her timing is good she might even land higher than that.
Two: Mack coming back would, in my view, also be great for the team. She has grit and muscle, and when she finds her shot, she will be a real asset. Even though she is not quick, she's quick enough.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that Taya is the player who will start losing court time with the emergence of Talia as the real-deal and with Ellie showing gradual, but not great, improvement. Taya is a solid role player, she's smart and knows the system, but she has shown little sign of growing beyond that description. Some here think she is partly injured, maybe she is - but her 3 point shot is no better than it was 3 years ago, and her drive to the basket has never materialized in any meaningful way. She has nothing that resembles a pull-up jumper.
Coach loves Taya's dependability, and her quick outlet passing, but I'm guessing that her minutes are slip-sliding' away....
Just a few ideas for those who know more about this than I do to fill in what I'm missing.... GO BEAVS!!
