This is a good game. OSU hanging in there, not sure they can win a shootout w/ Stanford.
I haven't seen Prechtel or Belibi, I gotta think they are unavailable. Jerome has barely played this year and she's been out there a bunch. Brink has 9 points in only 7 minutes, but 2 fouls.

Early in the second quarter and I really like where the Beaver pointsare coming from.....the freshman, Talia, Shasa, Savannah, and Sophomore Taylor. The future is going to be very good.
Stanford moves the ball very well and are good shooters. The Beavs rush their shots a lot more. You can tell though where the Beavs will be as Taylor, Sasha, Talia, etc get more time playing together.

Not a bad half. Down 3. Outscored them in 2Q 22-20.
Both teams shooting well. OSU 50%, Stanford 49%.

This is not a typical stanford-Oregon State game. 43-40 sounds more like the end of the third quarter.

That was surely on of the smoothest halves of basketball I’ve seen this season regardless of the teams.
Pretty clean, good shooting, limited turnovers.

I think we've played a really good half. If we have had as many games as Stanford I think we'd be even better. This team is getting better, hopefully we will be able to peak at the right time instead of a bit early like we have the last couple years.
Wow Stanford is deep.

That was totally an enjoyable half of basketball to watch. And the officials have been quiet and good. Stanford is a great passing and shooting team. Pure joy to watch. Beavers are just plain playing with grit and hitting the open player. Also very enjoyable to watch. |
