We watched the games in Surprise last year via Flo Sports. Very impressed, especially with the commentator. Plan to do it again this year.

4 games by Flo. $7.50 per game. Right at the bleeding edge for me. I am on the fence here

This has been on the GCU website since late January:
"A limited number of attendees will also be allowed via team pass lists. Policies could change throughout the season if health and safety conditions allow for increased capacity.
GCU will continue to have one of the most accessible game broadcasts in college sports so fans remain a part of the action. Home games for men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, BASEBALL and softball will continue to be streamed on GCULopes.com, YouTube and Facebook Watch.
Be sure to check the GCU Lopes app to stay connected with your favorite teams."
Bottom line: sounds like a better 'value' for GCU than the (IMHO) exorbitant fees the FLO has for Surprise/Sanderson tournament. I'm OK with following Surprise audio only, and then enjoying the GCU games with streaming.

I'm not excited for the flo price, especially when I add up all the other streaming crap we have! I'm pretty tempted to get it though, as I really wanna SEE how we look. That said, baseball is a sport I can listen to on the radio, especially when it's Parker and Wilson.
Another factor to consider is....how much will we actually be able to watch Beavs games this season? Sometimes when we travel, there's no video.
I dunno I'll prolly go with the flo

I dunno. Listening to the preseason games with Jon always adds an extra level of excitement, if confusion can be exciting. Anyway, it's a tradition with me.
Between that and the GameTracker over on StatBroadcast.com, I can manage. Something about listening to a baseball game....

I'm assuming these games will also be on the radio, but nothing mentioned on the team's schedule at osubeavers.com. Perhaps Jon will do the broadcast off the streams mentioned from KEJO studios? His home? Goss Stadium? I know Mike Parker did the football road games from Reser Stadium, and I'm assuming he's doing the same thing with men's basketball from Gill Coliseum.

I hear ya..I've listened to many a Beavs baseball game on the radio over the years. John seems like a genuinely great guy, and I enjoy his interviews typically.....but when it comes to calling a game......he just doesn't understand situational baseball very well and he makes you think a routine fly ball is a home run.....it can be a bit maddening when you can't see....Jim Wilson helps A LOT

If you literally have no idea how to “score” a baseball game, you have no business calling one on the radio. His announcing is fine, but his complete lack of baseball knowledge is a major distraction.

I was yelling at the (computer) to just look up the stat broadcast for scoring.

I know the difference in your example but I have a pretty rudimentary understanding of baseball. I didn't play past t-ball and never watched much as a kid. I do enjoy listening to the games while doing other things, and having things explained to Jon adds some extra knowledge for some of us fans as well.
