I have lived a sheltered and under-entertained life.....😉....... Actually, I’m thinking, “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul,” “Band of Brothers,” “The Pacific,” and the first offering of, “True Detective,” with Matthew and Woody were the best seasons (series) television EVER had to offer. But, what do I know??? 😄

You haven't seen Lost? The first four seasons are the best four seasons of television ever. Alas.... 😄 Breaking Bad was a great show, but I found it to be very heavy. Everything was very dirty and gritty and actions had terrible, terrible consequences. There were a couple of 3-4 episode arcs in Breaking Bad that were like a series of gut punches. It is something that I found entertaining at the time, but it was draining. I would probably not want to put myself through that again. What I saw of the first four seasons of Better Call Saul were great. I haven't seen any of Season 5 yet. It is very entertaining to know the end but try to figure out how they got there. Having said that, I still have not seen anything in Better Call Saul that was as engrossing as the 3-4 episode arcs mentioned above of Breaking Bad. I found Lost to be a little lighter and more fun. People died. Actions still had consequences. But I felt like Lost took itself less seriously, while still being relatable and real. I find watching Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad and Lost very comparable, because all three sort of untether you from time. You are watching characters living through events that occurred in the near past. Walter White and his silly flip phones were always winner. I also think that Better Call Saul's flash forwards are comparable to the same story telling in Lost. Although Better Call Saul does not use it as much or with as great as effect as Lost. IMO. In the end, each of Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad and Lost have their high points and their low points. I consider watching all three time well spent.
