Mother's Mattress Factory YES! The traveling trivia show and dimers! The Stein Goofy's Don's Den Murphy's (south of town) YES! Owned by Woody Bennett for a while I believe. The Thunderbird Lounge YES! Had a big part of my 21er there...Ouch.Prices's Toa Yen YES! Fun, and great late night food.Gables YES, great prime rib. Here's a few more from my era: - Nendel's Friday afternoons for free steamer clams! (Poor honest business dudes that got there to trays of empty, broken shells and a couple sorry looking clams!)
Can't remember what Greenhaven was prior, but it seemed like a pretty wild place.

Not sure what it was before.

I don't remember anyone going for food there. Maybe changed to Lum Lees afterwards

Then there was Tower of London. Greasiest fish and chips ever, but the bar had pool, darts, and Watney's Red Barrel. Now it's McMenamins.

Add: Class Reunion Night Deposit Superdeli on Monroe
OM was my favorite haunt though. When I was there, 82-85, there was an old timer by the name of Tony that sat at the end of the bar every night and we all bought him drinks. No teeth, couldn't understand a word he said, but was a fixture there.

Good balance for throwing!

Was All American Burger the place downtown on 4th street? 6th & Western Ok, that's the other place I remember. Old A&W looking building by the train tracks, right? I really miss having a place to get a cheap greasy burger in Corvallis.
