According to 24/7, he just announced his top 4, which includes Oregon State and Illinois. Not sure who the other two schools are (possibly Texas Tech and Kansas St). He’s a high 3 star out of Tenn. via Indiana. Only have watched a very short highlight video, but his main skill seems to be shooting. At 6-5, it looks like he can handle the ball pretty well too.
Not sure what Beavs real chances of getting him are, but a nice final four in which to be included. He’d be highest rated prep since Ethan if they can reel him in.

Asked about this kid on the Illinois board I frequent. Not a lot of additional info except that it is Providence rather than Texas Tech that is in his final four. He is a tough kid who puts up good numbers. Illini coaches like him a lot, but not sure how serious their pursuit is at this early point as they have offers out to higher ranked recruits including a SG from Illinois. Supposedly he is looking to commit in March.

Not a surprising decision. Hopefully WT can capitalize on his tournament success to bring in more talented HS players.

Illini fans are excited about this pick up. I’ve been hearing that when all is said and done he’s likely top 100 recruit. Hopefully with WT being in this recruitment til the end and this tourney success, we’re seeing things that bode well for Beaver recruiting going forward.
