Hollins is the Ryan McCants of the basketball program. Never understood why he wasn’t more successful.

He plenty of opportunities to show his talents and he never improved. So Stevie is the reason he sucked last year? Wait, he wasn’t on the team.

Looking back on it, I guess I should feel proud that I stuck it out at OSU even though I eventually realized there were people in my classes that were smarter than I was.

Disapointing to have a veteran transfer out of program but Hollins hasn't improved. New guys are better offensively but maybe not on D. Although it hurts depth, morale may improve. Good luck AH

Can’t say I’m surprised nor that I blame him. Never lived up to his seeming potential at OSU, so with the extra year of eligibility and not having to sit out might as well try to end his career playing somewhere. Best of luck to him.

I don’t like speaking badly about current players, but now that he’s not ... Hollins does not have a handle on the ball. 50/50 balls on the floor turned into 95/5 balls in favor of the other team. He also turned the ball over in key moments. This is the reason Tinkle would pull him from a game and why Zach became the starter. I appreciate his defense and that he contributed as a Beaver and wish him the best of luck.

How many times does Tinkle have to fail until he is sent packing? He's run out of coaches sons after this year and this team plays like they just came off of a pick-up game. The Wyoming game is just another example.

I think you've picked the wrong example. Hollins' play is the epitome of mediocre. Tinkle has upgrade the small forward position through recruiting this year, and Hollins lost his starting spot. Rather than work to improve and earn the spot again, he chose to bail. I have no problem with him leaving. Probably best for both parties.
