Beavs just picked up a verbal from one of the top in state kids in Asher Ruchti out of Thurston. 2x state champ at 4A Pleasant Hill before transferring last year to Thurston and winning a 3rd title at 152 wrestling for ex-Beav Mike Simons.
He’s been wrestling at 182 most recently - took 2nd at the Western States preseason nationals last month. He’s split 2 matches with Beav signee Kodiak Stephens if I recall correctly...
