Shelf life of RB is short and he's having a great start to the season. If he keeps this up, it will make up for last season. Seeing him projected mid round to not drafted. Methinks he'll be a 3-4 round guy.

Would be surprised. Everyone else back including Ham and Kipper imo.

The shortened season will help him not as much wear and tear on his body.

Personal opinion, he's not an NFL caliber RB.

Personal opinion, he's not an NFL caliber RB. What? Have you not been watching what he’s been doing with a below average line. Why do you think that?

Great vision and ability to find the hole, but thats not gonna do it to excell at the next level. I hope im wrong, but IMO he is more Ken Simonton and Yvenson Bernard than Steven Jackson and Ryan Nall, and Ryan Nall can't get a sniff of playing time.

Bernard and Simonton were great college backs but lack of breakaway speed got them caught from behind frustratingly often. When healthy, it appears Jefferson has some breakaway speed. Whether he becomes an NFL back of renown or a practice squad guy remains to be seen.

I've wondered about his speed, too, but the first play from scrimmage against Cal showed that he might be quite a bit faster than I thought he was. I think he has a shot at the NFL.

Last year wasn’t great for him, and this year is COVID. I’d love to see him stay one more year and improve, but we all know how that goes. Getting on a team, even a practice squad, pays more than being in school and is one step closer to the dream.
Whatever he decides, I wish him luck!

He had a break away run with no one near him at the end of the game and got run down fairly quickly. But he may have been tired. He can hit the hole as good as anyone I can remember at OSU

He can hit the hole as good as anyone I can remember at OSU I’m not so sure he was run down. He really slowed down when he looked over his shoulder, don’t recall seeing that from him in the past. Add to that the thought that we needed to burn time more than score and there may have been a bit of running out the clock going on. I couldn’t tell.

Personal opinion, he's not an NFL caliber RB. What about Artavis Pierce?
