Reports are that the MWC will restart on 10/24 and have an 8 game schedule. This would blow up all the Pac 12 excuses about California government stopping the Pac 12 restart, because SDSU, Fresno, and San Jose are all in the MWC and as far as I know in California. San Jose State is in the same damn county as Stanford. "Apparently the Mountain West sees a way to start sooner, putting it in line with the Big Ten's starting date...According to the Thamel report, the Mountain West is planning an eight-game schedule that would allow its conference championship game to be played on Dec. 19, one day before the selection committee names the teams to participate in the College Football Playoff and the other New Year's Six bowl games." www.si.com/college/cal/news/mountain-west-oct-24

It has to do directly with Stanford. And big deal if they get in 8 games. No one from that conference is going to the CFP.

Who cares if the NC is involved? We’re not going to the NC either, but I’d sure as hell like to watch us play.

Stanford is trying to turn this into an argument about amateurism, like come on guys, these players haven't been "amateurs" in any since of the word since at most 8th grade, smh. So getting to be on campus during a pandemic is an unreasonmable, "Professional" benefit, but these things aren't???: - Access to exclusive scholarships
- Access to exclusive classes
- Access to exclusive living quarters
- Access to exclusive weightlifting facilities
- Access to exclusive medical services
- Access to exclusive food services
- Access to an exclusive players lounge
- On and on and on, smh
Me think that this is really about something else, either Stanford not wanting to admit they were wrong, or wanting to look more like the other Ivy league school, or something else, because the amateurism arguement is a joke
