The pressure is on. Now the Pac-12 REALLY starts to lose out. We will be following suit in a matter of weeks, if not by the end of this week alone. I'd be really surprised if we stayed the course at this point. A lot of this is in the hands of Newsom, and the LA schools.

This am on Colin Cowherd with Joel Klatt. (Paraphrasing)
Colin: Can the P12 recover from this?
Klatt: No. They were already behind from a competitive and recruiting standpoint, and this will set them back light years. It will be used against them in recruiting for years to come. Light years behind. Not all on Larry Scott. California and Oregon politics play a large part.

But do they stay committed? Do the kids from across the country still travel to Oregon, I’m thinking they lose some....maybe quite a few.

From now on I'll try to only post things from people and points of view that you agree with. That should make for a dandy board.

I'll try to be more clear next time. Btw, he also said this was illustrated by a qb from Cali that not long ago would have gone any where else but USC, but he'll be suiting up for Bama. Roll Tide!

There are 5 Pac-12 teams in the top 26 in recruiting rankings as of today according to 247. And yes, we are behind the SEC. We have been for the last 30+ years.

Need to get our leader on board.
The Pac-12 is one of two Power Five conferences, joining the Big Ten, in postponing football until 2021. One conference that continues to plan fall football is the SEC, where Alexander spent seven years as president at LSU.
Asked what the Pac-12 sees that the SEC doesn’t see, Alexander said simply, “I think, probably, reality.”
