OSU has announced the pledge of Nelson Keljo, a class of 2022 LHP from Portland's Jesuit HS. Nelson is 6-3, 195 and recently topped out at 89 mph with a lively fastball.
In recent events, he has been consistently in the 86-88 range, a gain of 8 mph in the past year. Long levered, solid frame, high 3/4 delivery slot and good arm speed.
Trains with Gunderson Baseball. Played freshman ball in 2019, had 2020 season wiped out, and is preparing for his junior year in 2021.

He hasn't signed a letter of intent yet. It's not official, and a school cannot announce a verbal commitment. Do you have a link? I'm not disputing your news, I'm just concerned about the source. GO BEAVS!

Baseball commitments are announced and posted by the schools, by the news media, and by all the recruiting services. Pledges are not kept secret. What you won't see is a college coach discussing anything specific about the recruit. Das ist verboten.
Fans should be engaged in all kinds of open discussion about a recruit. Anyone officially affiliated with the baseball program should not.

Schools can retweet players tweets. They can't originate any recruit-based content until an LOI or financial aid agreement is signed.
