Wilky:
A word. The sophisticated in the world of analytics add a "P' to Wins Above Replacement, which completes the description, "Wins above Replacement Player"
I saw no mention of Conforto's BPO, BPIP, wOBA, wRC, WPA, XBA, SA, Saf, or EBA. What gives?

What gives? By sophisticated, do you mean slow? We may be running in different circles, when it comes to analytics. I disagree. WAR is WAR; it's not WARP. BPO? Pitchouts? Saf? The capitalization makes me think that you are talking about a different stat than the one that I am thinking of. EBA? Conforto's BAPIP - Batting Average of balls Put In Play - is first in the NL and second in the majors behind Tim Anderson. Conforto's wOBA is 7th behind Soto (Nats), Freeman (Braves), Cruz (Twins), Anderson (White Sox), Smith (Mets) and Trout (Angels). Conforto is seventh in wRC+. (Same names in front of him with Smith and Trout swapped.) My other stats cover WPA. I didn't put xBA down for a reason. Conforto has the 18th-highest differential in the majors between his BA and his xBA. That tends to indicate that he is playing out of his mind right now and should return closer to the mean at some point.

Saw OPP used once in place of the pitching stat OBA. Not sure if that's the one you're referring to.
Are you a fan of;
Fielding % RBI's Pitcher's W-L record Saves

C'mon, even the rookies know about BPO.
Bases / Out
Total bases reached (hits, BB, HBP, fielding error, C interference and SB) + SAC (Bunts and Fly balls) DIVIDED BY Outs (GO, FO, SAC (Bunts and Fly balls, GDP, FC, CS, Force out, FC [FC = 0, SACs are counted twice] = BPO
A stat measuring overall offensive contribution.

OPP how can I explain it? Just say other people's pussy and call it good Um yeah, it was a rhetorical question. Just quoting the first line of the song since it seemed to fit the thread. But if you knew the lyrics, you’d also know that OPP has a second meaning for the ladies The first two letters are the same but the last is something different ... It's another five letter word rhymin' with cleanest and meanest
