Apparently the basketball programs were caught by surprise when the conference decided to include them in the cancellation of the normal start to football. Word is that if the NCAA goes with a November star nation-wide, they want to start Pac-12 basketball at the same time.

247 had article today that Pac 12 is reconsidering the delay to season. No idea if it has any traction or not.
