Is January Oregon/Washington/Cali weather REALLY any worse than November? not really. East of the Cascades, yeah it is. It puts WSU had a distinct disadvantage.

Weather east of the Cascades is inconsistent at best. One Ground Hogs day, buddy and I are playing golf in our shirt sleeves. 4-5 days later, there is 6 inches of snow on the ground. As an umpire, in late March/early April we could lose games to snow. Or, work in shirts, go figure. Hell, last winter, I didn't shovel my driveway until March, then a dump.

But on the whole, Jan-Feb is a lot worse than Oct-Nov.

The intrastate rivalry game of Oregon...since the PC police did away with CW moniker. Im almost 50 and it's always been called CW.. hard to just phase it out i guess.. hopefully they come up with good name for it How about " Rumble at Reser " ?
