Good for him. I hope he gets in and performs well.

I think that a wrong and illogically perceived lack of athleticism will hurt him.

Really? You think he is athletic?

He was athletic enough to frequently go one on three with a fair amount of success at the collegiate level. Not as athletic as some, but not unathletic.

He's not overly: fast, quick, springy, etc. He's also not that great with his right hand.
He is a hardworker, competitor, good shooter, experienced.
It comes down to how hard he's worked to NBA-ify his game and how hard he's willing to work to get a spot on a roster.
I wish him luck. It would be great to have another Beaver in the NBA.

I have read that the combine will likely not happen. They will do some Zoom interviews and players can release workout videos.

He won't be able to do the dribble, drive, slash action in the nba. He also said he thinks Tres will shoot them at a high percentage because that's his ticket into the nba. At OSU it was only in his arsenal. Finally he said that he is UCLA'S all time leading scorer but no one confuses him with UCLA'S best ever player.

He is a very similar player to Luke Jackson when he came out of uo and who he trained with. Tres has to become a knockdown 3 shooter or he won’t make it.

With all due respect to Tres, Luke was a much more complete player. Luke ran the point his Senior year at Creswell. Much better handle, passer and all around player IMO. Although Luke did not have much of an NBA career, mostly due to injury, he was the 10th player selected in the 1st round. I hope Tres can catch on with an NBA team but most likely he is headed for the G League or overseas. I wonder if he will follow his dad's footsteps into coaching?

I agree with your comments but running the point at a 3A school doesn't translate into much.

During the state playoffs they put the ball in his hands and he pretty much single handedly carried them to the state title. I knew he was really good, but after watching the state tourney I thought he had a chance to be an all American in collage.

I tried, but the closest thing I could find to Luke in collage was this... si.wsj.net/public/resources/images/BN-QH780_OREGUj_GR_20161017155315.jpg
