I’m really surprised they haven’t come after T Boone yet. They must know his political leanings but I guess the billion dollars he lavished those poor fball players with must come with come clawback provisions or certainly some contract terms that haven’t expired yet. They’d have to dig deep to do that.

If you are asking me "were there racists in the crowd at the rally", the answer is yes. Does OAN and the president have any control over that? No. If you are talking about the president's comments about Charlottesville - no, I do not. I am not sure what the OAN reported at the time - I was not watching. I have listened to the president's whole speech - have you? Or have you just listened to the cropped, truncated version of it. The Charlottesville story has been debunked time and time again as fabrication and spin, by showing that the comments by the president were taken out of context. But CNN? They will never admit they were spinning the speech to make points with their viewers (the few that are left), just like Adam Schiff pulling out of his a@@ the reading of the supposed transcript of the phone call between Trump and the Ukranian President. Seriously, there is always like 10 people listening in on those calls. Adam wasn't counting on that, or the release of the transcripts. Thank God for body cams, dash cams and transcriptionists. It makes it that much harder to push a narrative, when the hard cold truth about something that was said is revealed. The rest of what you reference? I either do not have enough information, or it has already been commented on. But, here is an interesting link for you:
Native Beav??? not sure how these board work, but if I am getting this correctly, you are saying that Trump has no connection to white nationalism, that he is a bystander? Gawd, how stupid can you be? I thought we were not supposed to mention politics? I am breaking the rules right now, but I am protesting the bulls%#t. and it is bulls%#t. Trump is a complete freaking asshat. Nothing but a piece of horse dung, get used to it, because until he's gone that is what we are eating!!! ”Gawd, how stupid can you be?” Always a good intro for a meaningful conversation. Ha ha!

After an internal investigation they lopped $1m/year and 1 year, off his contract. Very expensive tshirt, but I’m sure he’ll survive. Public flogging by the social justice warriors not in the too distant future. I love that people think that fighting for social justice is in some way or somehow a bad thing. It really shows their values. Most of the people that use this term proclaim to be Christians.

I've said this before I will say it again gundy didn't voluntarily take a million dollar a year pay cut and knock a year off his contract. It might have said it in the story but if he did nothing wrong why would he do that?

I think this mischaracterizes the strength and fortitude of the young black man who took a stance against the head coach’s choice of shirt. He had more to lose than to win. It takes character to call out your boss or your supervisor. As you say to Glove, I also say to you: walk a mile in the player’s shoes. In today's climate, please do tell - what exactly did he "have to lose?" You really think if Gundy were to retaliate in any way, shape, or form against Chubba Hubbard, it wouldn't be front page news on some of the networks? Do you really think he would keep it to himself, or his teammates would? In fact, I would argue he just insulated himself from being cut or his playing time reduced, even if it is justified by his play on the field. The climate we have created, unfortunately. In yesterday’s climate, yes, he stood to lose everything. So is that what you want? Is that what you are arguing for? A return to the days when minorities and women were kept in place by the powers over them? You would like to return to inequality? Damn snowflakes not keeping quiet and staying in their places!

I'm using logic. Remember the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville in August 2017? If so, keep that in mind. Do you think it's fair to categorize that as racist? Remember participants were chanting Jews will not replace us and crap like that. People that were there self-identified as neo-fascist, white nationalists, klansmen, and so on. Now OAN recently said that Black Lives Matter protesters planted pipe bombs at the Korean War Memorial in DC. OAN also said that the 75-year-old man that had his head bashed in Buffalo by Buffalo PD was trying to capture the radio communications signature of Buffalo policemen. OAN has said that Dr. Fauci funded the creation of the corona virus (at a lab in North Carolina). I feel very strongly that those three things are nonsense. Now this is where you need to make some guesses and extrapolate. If you asked 1000 of the marchers from Charlottesville who do they watch, believe, support more, CNN or OAN. I would be willing to bet that they prefer OAN. I also think the vast majority of very good high school football players agree with my statement. If those players perceive (it doesnt have to be the reality, only perception) that the OkSU football coach identifies with OAN, those that disagree with what OAN says will be less likely to attend OkSU. So I agree with you that it is sad that there may be a connection between Gundy's shirt and recruiting. I believe the general theme of this post is why Gundy got hit financially by his employer. If you are asking me "were there racists in the crowd at the rally", the answer is yes. Does OAN and the president have any control over that? No. If you are talking about the president's comments about Charlottesville - no, I do not. I am not sure what the OAN reported at the time - I was not watching. Dang. I don't want to delve into trump, Schiff, phone calls with the Ukraine president and so on. I think keeping the conversation marginally related to Beaver sports is a good idea. OkSU is our opponent so I think it fits. I thought there was a reasonable thought process from that rally to BLM to OAN. I thought there would be a little common ground in stating that a rally with the Klan, neo-fascists, and white nationalists would be considered racist. But no common ground so I will drop it.

It might have said it in the story but if he did nothing wrong why would he do that? He took it the same way Anderpants returned the rest of his contract. He probably didn't have a real choice, and this was saving face.

Yep - because successful white nationalistic businessmen donate free of charge entire floors in their buildings to the likes of Jesse Jackson, and the Rainbow Coalition. There is audio tape of Jesse Jackson praising then developer Donald Trump for all of his help and generosity towards his organization, when the event linked below happened. White nationalists also also promote women and minorities in their businesses and in their administration - and you ask me "how stupid can I be? LOL

White nationalist business owners may find it advantageous to promote women and minorities in their businesses and their administrations since, um, there's sort of a law about that. You know, equal opportunity and all that. Lawsuits are a bitch.
Which leads us back to my post. Without those laws, do you think White Power people would hire them let alone promote them? Nah. So how did those laws come about? From the snowflakes complaining.
Snowflakes make this country greater than it is now. Snowflakes have their eyes locked on the qualities that will make our country great: equality, fairness, justice, freedom, and liberty.

It really shows their values. Most of the people that use this term proclaim to be Christians. Depends on what your definition of social justice is. If its dealing with racism in a fact based constructive way to reduce the negative impact of those affected most rational human beings would support that. I think most informed people, "Christians" or not , are little sharper than perhaps you might think and can separate efforts to address real racism from much of the current effort to destroy property and peoples lives who might not share their leftist views.

I think most informed people, "Christians" or not , are little sharper than perhaps you might think and can separate efforts to address real racism from much of the current effort to destroy property and peoples lives who might not share their leftist views. Part of the problem is that folks want to ignore the reasons for protests. Naturally, it is challenging for people to think about the social changes that need to be implemented in order to improve our society since so many people already have little to no problem with the system. So instead of looking at possibilities or solutions, they focus on the noise. They turn their attention instead to "property damage" and "looting" in order to avoid taking the protests seriously.
Back in 2008 when the market collapsed and housing went to hell, we saw what happened when families were evicted and their homes were foreclosed, but no one cried "property damage" or "looting." These families were pissed off at the system and they took it out on the house that they lost.
It happens. Frustration leads to anger. Anger leads to violence. How do we address that anger? By addressing the frustration of those who have been held back by the system.
Turning away and saying that we don't have to listen because they are protesting wrong will only increase the frustration until it spills out again.

After an internal investigation they lopped $1m/year and 1 year, off his contract. Very expensive tshirt, but I’m sure he’ll survive. Gundy is a p*ssy, as identified by a friend/ business associate of mine that lives in Oklahoma. Most of the fan base there wants him gone, not because of a t-shirt he wore, but because of his gutless defense of wearing said t-shirt. OAN is no different than CNN, just on the other side of the spectrum.
How funny it is you want all of us posters to avoid politics - then inject it into the discussion. What does Gundy, Oklahoma State, or their head scratching punishment have to do with Beaver Sports? What, they both use OSU as their acronym? I hope Gundy sues the university for millions of dollars for violating his first amendment and civil rights - you know, the ones the antifa thugs and BLM protesters are hiding behind?
Either you believe in free speech and freedom of expression for everyone - or you don't. You, nor OSU (Oklahoma State) get to choose who gets certain rights, and who doesn't. And regardless of what you may think of the OAN network, they are a legal choice for a portion of the populace to watch, and is really none of your business, or anyone else's. The hypocrisy on display here is stunning.
I'll make this a public warning. Using racist dogwhistle terms ("thugs), particularly in a blanket term for the BLM protesters as a whole, will not be tolerated. You do not have freedom of speech on a private forum. Clean it up, or we'll do it for you.
