Hey! The law needs to be followed and respected by the common people. But if you wear a badge it's optional.

Oregon's finest. So glad OSU is getting rid of those guys. I mean, I understand that folks in authority positions don't like being told what to do, but it sounds like the store staff was respectful and were just trying to meet the State's requirements as they understood them. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they were just "having a bad day".

Too bad they didn't cite the Gov's order language instead of going off on a profane, paranoid tirade about her "taking their civil liberties". Whatever happened to professionalism, don't they teach that up in Monmouth these days? The way they responded it was clear they didn't know or care whether the mask requirement did or didn't apply to coffee shops.

I hope you don't die of starvation waiting for an answer.

For people whose job it is to interface with the public, they sure suck at it.

For people whose job it is to interface with the public, they sure suck at it. At least they are alive and healthy enough to have the opportunity to suck at their jobs.

At least they are alive and healthy asymptomatic enough to have the opportunity to suck at their jobs. Nope. Meant what I said. Shame so few know what I'm referencing.

If by "it" you are referring to the behavior of the police, then I agree with you.
I am flabbergasted by their alleged behavior and comments.
As beaverfever says, I can understand if they are sitting at a table eating and drinking. But just standing there or ordering? Wear a mask. You are a figure of authority. Act like it.

by "it" I meant the OSP Troopers disregard for the directions from the Governor in a health crisis. Made worse by the fact that several Troopers participated. Talk about setting a poor example. Check your politics at the ready room door fellas
