What a time to take over as president of the university, in the midst of the coronavirus crisis (or non-crisis, as your politics may decide). I feel sorry for him! He’s got a few hurdles to guide the university through before things get back to normal. Good luck, F!

Just because some people think it could be handled differently doesn’t mean they don’t think it’s a crisis. News flash: Different people handle crises differently. Give it a rest. Please.

F. King A! I have great hopes for the direction of the school and it's programs under this guy.

Guess I touched a nerve, eh, spud? I personally know people in my town who don’t believe that coronavirus is a crisis, so, you know, I thought I was being gracious by allowing space for their views. Because it doesn’t matter what you think of coronavirus; F. King Alexander has taken over leadership at a very difficult time.

My new boss signs letters as follows:
Sincerely, F. King Alexander President So what do his friends call him? I doubt if they call him "Fieldon" which apparently is his given first name. I wonder if his parents gave that a lot of thought.

His friends growing up called him feely? I write that as a joke but I think the 3rd baseman on the 05 CWS team had that name.

It's good to know that you're so gracious that allow space for their views, as you lump everyone into two groups. I'm sure there are no people that share your political view that think like anyone from the other side regarding Covid-19, and vice-versa. That would be ridiculous! I could only hope to strive to be as gracious as you someday. Sheesh.

Shea McFeely was the guy and he was also on the 2006 CWS Championship Beaver team. I remember he hit at least one home run to the left field bleachers in Omaha at the Blatt. Minor League stats for Shea

Perhaps now has to be just about the worst time to take over as president of a university in a new area.
But no, you gotta find the dig. Good for you; you clearly are the better man.

I don’t think you get it either. Tie. I never questioned the difficulty of the timing of the job as you clearly know. Not surprisingly you miss the facts.
