Too Italian But I do like the alliteration I think you have violated all kinds of patent laws by quoting a copyrighted, registered and trademarked name. Notice how I deleted TVV? Later on he’s going to double park.

As suggested on another thread by some body other than me. The Big Brawl. I think it is excellent. Maybe shorten it to The Brawl.

99 Rivalry. Hwy 99 connects the two schools. I think the OSU/ uo. Rivalry is a statewide event. In my opinion focusing on 2 towns in the Willamette Valley is too narrow a framework. And by the way (not relating to your post at all) F the Platypuss! I can't imagine a more awful/ridiculous/demeaning image to attach to our rivalry.

How about "The Battle". Also if you can't handle the civil war how about "The War"?

How about "The Battle". Also if you can't handle the civil war how about "The War"? Each game between schools during the year would be "The Battle". The most battles won during the season would win "The War"

Is there something I'm missing about people's hatred of the Platypus? I think it's clever and fitting of our schools. The trophy itself is kind of "meh" though.

Not a single one of those misbegotten creatures exist in the wild in Oregon. They have exactly nothing to do with North America, let alone Oregon.

It looks like a mutant offspring of the beaver and duck though.
So, unless it exists in Oregon, and only Oregon, it cant be considered in this discussion?
I will always call it the Civil War. This whole thing is a damn joke.
