Max Tuerk, of USKnee fame, has died at age 26. His cut blocks that ruined the knees of Jalen Grimble and Noke Tago were as intentional and dirty as I've ever witnessed. RIP, I guess.

Yahoo sports reporting,
A statement from Tuerk’s family later revealed that he died while hiking with his parents in the Cleveland National Forest
Doesn't matter what he did to who. He was his parents' son. A tragedy for his family. May they find solace in their grief.

Wow, what a classless post. A young man has passed away and you’re basing your lack of appropriate sentiment and basic human compassion on actions he took under the instruction of a s%#tty coaching staff? I award you no points and May God have mercy on your soul.

I think he gets it. Those last couple should be flagged 15 for piling on. After all, it's not like he said something as heinous as he doesn't believe wearing an old Cheap Trick concert T-shirt over your face will stop Covid-19 or something...

Max Tuerk was not involved in Grimble's injury. Chad Wheeler cut Dylan Wynn and wound up chop blocking Grimble. I could see that one being accidental. On the very next drive, on a 3rd & 17 read option, Tuerk took his helmet and drove it into Noke Tago's planted right knee. It was the only time all game that that blocking scheme was used. It was wildly unnecessary and it appeared that the only intent was to injure Tago. Buck Allen ran for 12 yards on the play to set up a 36-yard field goal that USC missed. After Grimble and Tago went out, Oregon State could not stop USC. Up to that point (about six minutes left in the third), the Trojans had rushed for 21 yards. After Tago went out, USC rushed for 179 yards and two rushing touchdowns. The only time that the Beavers' defense held was when Obum Gwacham forced a fumble that Cody Kessler managed to fall on. I was not a fan of Tuerk, while he was alive. But I wish peace on Max and his family. None of them deserved anything close to what they are going through.

Not sure if I really paint Tuerk as the bad guy.
