Time to ditch Betty Crocker as well. She harkens back to the day when a woman's place was at home and in the kitchen. My family claim to fame? My mom was a test cook for Betty Crocker and she appears in a photo in one of the early cookbooks sitting at a mixer. Ha ha! We still have it.

We still have a huge Betty Crocker cookbook copyright in 1970 given to us as a wedding present in 1971. Still use it for something different from time to time. The beef stroganoff is good but we add extra paprika and sour cream,

There is a Lil Sambos in Lincoln City. The owner says his place was not part of the chain but he "borrowed" the name.
