Hard for me to see much of her overall game in this game highlight reel... She has a high arc to her shot, that's for sure...She releases it effortlessly....She looks like she has more length than a player with 6'1 height...
Thanks for posting the clip... GO BEAVS !!

If she's a strong defensive player her coach should have put her on the point guard who was killing them!! Thanks for posting the clip... GO BEAVS !!

She was busy guarding the fourth ranked 2022 player, Janiah Barker, who she held to 9 points on 3-13 shooting.

beaverwbb fan - - now that's good news....The video showed virtually no away-from-the-ball action, so I couldn't tell anything about defensive play.... GO BEAVS !!

Yeah, it is mostly just an offensive showcase film, only showing players that resulted in points. Both Tampa Bay Tech and St. Francis have very good programs, lots of talent out on the floor in that game.

Any word on how much time/days the OSU coaching staff will have to work with the players? Without the OSU basketball camps to keep the players in Corvallis, I am speculating that the PAC-12 and/or NCAA has weighed in to give guidance with a tentative July practice schedule and how many hours of instruction will be allowed.

New players arrive July 6th but returning players can arrive this coming week I believe.

Hope that he keeps us informed as much as he can as we are starved for new info about what the WBB squad is doing.

I haven't heard any updates from any direct contacts, but I did notice that the NCAA finalized recommendations for summer athletic activities for July and August: www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-men/article/2020-06-16/summer-access-proposed-di-mens-and-womens-basketballIt says: "Men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes can continue voluntary activities and up to eight hours of virtual nonphysical activities through the reminder of June. From July 1-19, voluntary virtual nonphysical activities, enhanced in-person nonphysical activities, weight training and conditioning will be allowed. ... On-court practice activities will not be allowed during this 18-day period. Required summer athletic activities may begin July 20 and can last up to eight weeks until the school’s first day of classes or Sept. 15, whichever is earlier." So I'm guessing that the plan to start team practices July 6th is now changed.

From what you wrote, there is no guessing to it. It says on-court practices are not allowed July 1- 19..... Did I read it correctly? GO BEAVS !!

The beginning of the linked article says "The Division I Men’s Basketball Oversight and Women’s Basketball Oversight Committees on Monday finalized recommendations for summer athletic activities for July and August." So I wasn't 100% positive that "recommendations" were binding although I believe they are. But that is why I said "guessing".

However, up to eight hours per week of voluntary team activities are allowed. As a result, my guess is that OSU WBB will be/has gathered the squad to Corvallis to start the process of building a new team for '20-'21. I would consider the permissible voluntary "virtual" activities as team practices, even if they are simply Zoom meetings, weights, or conditioning sessions. The players must be eager to get back to doing what has been taken away from them for the past three months. I know that several of them are renowned gym rats.
