Yes it is her dad. I believe he is the one who rolled onto Carson Palmer causing a torn ACL. They changed the rule after that hit. No going low on the quarterback.

As good of an athlete as her father was, check out the athletic background of her mother when you get a chance. I think that she was a heptathlete and held her high school school record in both the 200m and shot put when she graduated. An uncommon combination of strength and speed that surely has been passed on through genetics to Talia. Her maiden name was Tondi Redden. She played collegiate basketball at Hawaii. Worth a look if you get a chance.

Heard all the rumors before. Beaveroracle has 22 posts to his credit so far. He is staking his rep on the opening post in this thread. Anybody have a feel for how credible and all-knowing Beaveroracle may be? Can anybody vouch for him? If he is on to early info re: Talia, we will seek him out for valuable insider info frequently in the future.

I really hope he is right. Everyone on the board hopes he is right... But when you say "I know something" and then provide no information or evidence that you do know something, it's pretty hard to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. It's very easy to protect your source, but still add credibility to your claim with a simple comment like "someone from her home town" or "a family involved in AAU ball".....etc. etc......
But back to the starting point: I really hope he's right. I would love to see her in a Beaver uniform.... GO BEAVS !!

If the Beavs add Greta and Talia, this class would be on parr (possibly better) with the Taylor and Kennedy recruitment in 2019. Watching the four of them play together along with Sasha and the rest of the team would be very entertaining. Will be watching for the twitter announcement to get us all excited about beaver wbb!!

Heard the same scoop on Talia. Pretty reliable source. Probably just a matter of time before its out there. She likely wants to communicate with some others directly prior to a broader announcement via social media. Nice pick up for Rueck and staff.

That is a another good sign. Beaveroracle and Norm are two relatively new posters who appear to know somebody with inside knowledge. I like how the news is trending. We can all use some confirmation of good news for Beaver Nation. If true, really big news for the health of the program going forward.

No. Peyton committed to Louisville 2 weeks ago or so. Talia is the only player under discussion in this thread. Unless you are asking if Peyton is the "source". I really doubt that.

If Talia commits, it will give the Beavs two of the top 12 players on the 2021 Hoop Gurlz top players in the country. I don't want get into it about rankings, 5*, etc.....But this is definitely a first for the program...And a big one at that. It was only 4 years ago that Pivec, with her #26, or so, ranking represented the highest ranked recruit in WBB program history....
So, yeh, this is lofty territory....And it is an impressive achievement for Rueck and staff.... Less importantly, but nevertheless somewhat important - if Talia eventually signs, we will have landed a great one from the state of Washington after losing out on several others in the past few years....
So I'm excited.....Now we wait for something more official.....As for Norm and Beaveroracle if they're connected it will be great to have them make contributions to the board....... GO BEAVS!!

While we wait to find out if Beaveroracle and Norm have spoken with a reliable source, we'll pretend for a moment they do.
Prospects Nation web site is down, and I don't have access to their rankings but as 411500 stated, Hoopgurlz (ESPN) has Talia as #10 and Greta #12.
Blue Star Basketball has Greta as #8 (currently the top ranked player committed to the Pac-12) and Talia as #41. Seems like they are both ranked very closely on Prospects Nation, but I don't remember right now. Either way, that's two pretty talented girls.
