Rather than working to make himself better, he goes elsewhere. This is why I hate the transfer portal.

Creates needed space....not like Antoine was anything but a steady backup.

I will admit never went to practices, was never in the locker room but while Ethan was maybe the best player on the team he should have never been the primary point guard. Vernon at least seemed to know how to move the ball when he played.

Vernon did reasonably well for playing such short stretches at a position it takes time during the game to be comfortable at. The team usually looked like it had a better flow when he got to be the point. Sorry to see him go. But if you can’t get a legit chance in the games, then you have to find other options for PT.

I am not surprised Vernon is transferring. I don't think he was given a chance to be the everyday point guard. Never could get any significant minutes. Good Luck Vernon wherever you land.

In the words of Pat Casey, the players set the lineup. Never saw enough from him when he did play to merit many more minutes.

This wasn’t much of a surprise. I never saw anything from him that would indicate he’d be more than a backup. That being said, I don’t think WT did him any favors not getting him some more time against the cupcakes. Hope he finds a good place to finish out his career.

Creates needed space....not like Antoine was anything but a steady backup. Needed space for what? Yet more marginal talent? It's not like Tinkle's recruiting is getting any better. Exactly. If you’re just trading players for others of equal talent you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse. No continuity, always re-inventing the wheel. I’ve seen enough.

Let Tinkle have a year or two unencumbered by nepotism. We are not in a financial position to let him go anyway, you might as well see what he can do with guys who are there for reasons other than family. I think I know how it will turn out, but this is a process we have to go through regardless.

Looking forward to next season. Much needed upgrade in athleticism. The roster looks much better to me,and the complication of coaching your son is done. It's very difficult to do...trust me. We're now at the maximum 13...
