Saw report that Beavs have reached out to Penn grad transfer Ryan Betley. He’s 6-5 guard who averaged 11.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg this year, and shot 36% from 3. Seemed to do well against some of the better teams — 12 pts 6 rebs against AL, 22 and 8 against Providence (in a win), 20 and 7 against AZ and 13 and 3 against Villanova.
Plenty of good teams have been in contact — Memphis, Illinois, USC, Arizona, Stanford and others— but who knows.

Interesting that everything we're hearing about targets for next year are guards/wings. Where are the posts? Is Li all of a sudden healthy to take a roster spot? Cause by my count we have Silva and Tucker and that's it.

Cause by my count we have Silva and Tucker and that's it. They did sign the JC transfer who is listed at 6-8, 230 and looks to be a back to the basket type. Maybe they’re expecting Potts to contribute some, though I agree they seem light in the big man department. We’re likely to have a better understanding of what is up with the roster by end of the month. I believe last day to declare for draft is April 26. Maybe I’m wrong, but I believe Ethan declared last year. So if rule is still in place you can withdraw from draft just once, if he declares he’s gone. And last year I think Washington announced his transfer late April, so should hear about any other transfers within next couple of weeks. Some potential transfers might be waiting to see what Ethan does.
