I am a Beaver Fan just like the rest of you, but do you think that might have come from Max's reaction to the Huskies Hitter and Bench when he struck out the guy in the Top of 9th with the bases loaded? I thought his actions were uncalled for in that situation. Act Like You have done it before. Walk of the field and get your teammates fired up to score a run to win the game. Maybe I am Old School, but its not like we won the game in that situation. I will probably get blasted, but I don't care. Go Beavs!

I actually wondered if PC chewed some tail. He loves emotion but not directed at an opponent. It's classless no matter what the other team does or how they act. You don't stoop to the level of those teams who have never been there/done that!

This thread or versions of it pop up on every board this time of year- I remember seeing it multiple times on pure-orange (RIP). One year it's ASU or hole or Wazzu.. But it's essentially the same deal - emotional & competitive college kids + a chippy series + someone offended by some dugout chatter. Fists are pumped, things are said. So it goes. and that's just the players. I've cringed at our own fans plenty of times at Goss.

If he would have stared at his own dugout and been fired up that would have been fine but what he did was dumb. Let's call the time we live in as the 'in your face' generation. It seems that being competitive is becoming synonymous with full tilt gloating.
