Depends on the Dad:Son dynamic . Pat Casey handled it extremely well . WT seems to be a little too loyal to coaches kids. But, at the same time - they were the best kids on the floor. I just wish we had developed the reserves a lot more and that recruiting would have been kicked up a notch - instead of flattening out ! [br Pat’s kids were nowhere near the best players. A different dynamic. Both of Pat’s kids are/were borderline PAC 12 players. One or two kids on a team with 35-ish players just isn't the same thing as 2-3 of the 5 starters on a 15 member roster (not to mention one more of the 15 is the AD's son, not that he's a big threat for playingtime). People keep making baseball to basketball comparisons as though they're the same sport. I don't see it.

Best players for sure. Best chemistry? Team sport. Individual talent only takes you so far. as far as....4th in the conference? I would be happy with that as an average. For me, stats and numbers aside, it is about enjoying the game. I enjoy watching good basketball. I go to most all the home games and more often than not, it really is not good basketball. Certainly, it is not consistently good basketball. What is most frustrating is there are spurts of excellent basketball, and even complete games of good basketball. I would also add that I think this year’s team was better than last year’s, despite the final standings. I’m not close to the team, so it is speculation on my part that it is lack of on court leadership and chemistry.

No OSU players in the portal which so far is a good sign. Talked to one of the team managers earlier today discussing players for next year and as far as he knows no one is planning on going anywhere. Good to see after a couple of years with multiple transfers. (So far) We have an INSIDER!
