NCAA just announced all winter and spring championships are cancelled as well. Feel for the seniors.... of all teams. LAME. This isn't ebola. Much more communicable than ebola, though, which is the problem. I support clearing out the calendar for the next four months for most sports. I think that cancelling is an overreaction. I would personally postpone for four weeks and see where we are at at that point. That seems a more level-headed and less hysterical reaction. Baseball and basketball should definitely go away until April, though. Everyone needs to set a good example. If it is NCAA-wide and they do cancel, the NCAA should give everyone another year, though.

Much more communicable than ebola, though, which is the problem. That's because Ebola is too effective at killing its host, and quickly at that. This virus is well designed to maximize hosts, with many carriers being asymptomatic.

Postponing is great in theory, but there’s a reason they schedule these venues years in advance.

So we win? Automatic berth to no Tourney? 8-way tie? that's gonna help the Beavs .NET ranking!

Sad the season ended, but happy Osu hoops ended on a spectacular note...How bad would we have felt if these kids would have made the big dance and couldn't go due to this crisis? Some things are bigger than sports...

Go with... in spectacular fashion.

I would call coming from behind and hitting a three to win with 1.8 to go a spectacular note. No...I'm not easily satisfied, but it will be a great memory that will get me to next season with hope.

Some people choose to focus on the negative, some people choose to promote the positive. You have promoted the positive, and that's what i appreciates about you.

Hahahahahaha. qbeaverAgainst the seven seed, Oregon State overcame a one-point deficit with 17.6 seconds left to post a three-point win. During the game, Tres broke Oregon State's all-time scoring record. The two seniors combined for 32 points and 11 rebounds. Against the ten seed, Oregon State crushed California 74-56, the Beavers' biggest win over the Bears since 2005 (en route to the NIT). On Senior Night, the two seniors combined for 43 points and 14 rebounds. As of right now, 2020 is the last time that Oregon State ended the year on a 3+ game winning streak since 1965 (Paul Valenti's first year). So, the best three-game end to a season in what.........more than 50 years? Got to see Tinkle break Oregon State's all-time scoring record. Pretty spectacular, if you ask me.
