Wasn’t fun seeing Stanford come back and take the lead, but it was nice to see some good plays drawn up and executed at the end of the game.

Too late for this year but can a few of the ladies on the women's team give these guys long range shooting tips? Tip #1: Shoot with literally no one in your face like the women get to 85% of the time. Tip # 2: Shoot with a women's basketball, which is 10% smaller.

ALL this drama was on WT. One, he switched from man that was working well to the 1-3-1 which Stanford shredded. Then, with the lead, he took the air out of the ball WAY TO SOON. J freaking C Wayne, if it's working, make them beat it.
Seriously, man is (should be) an aggressive defense that has to be played TOUGH. Zone is a passive reactive defense. And dammit, if you only have a 2-3 possession lead with two plus left to go, you cannot go passive on offense.
Time to cut bait. Pay him off and can his ass.

I hope you haven't been watching the stock market the last ten days. Now that's a rollercoaster ride.

I’ve got my problems with WT, but Beavs played a good game. And not sure what his definition of shred is, but went to zone with what, an 8 pt lead, win by 3.. And I think Beavs had 1 FG in last 5 minutes, so Stanford didn’t exactly go into a scoring frenzy.

I'm old and my money guy has me minimally in equities and more in guaranteed money funds and munis. My problem is that he is thinking about retiring and then WTF do I do.

This was a game the players won inspite of the coach.

Good game, Beavs! Listened to it start to finish. Couldn't not listen, with a player likely going to become the new all-time leading scorer. Then to have the same player seal the win at the end was perfect. Go Beavs! Just think what he could have achieved if he was a good player!

Then to have the same player seal the win at the end was perfect. Go Beavs! Just think what he could have achieved if he was a good player! Kudos to Tres for stepping up last night. It hasn’t been a stellar senior after a couple of strong ones preceding this. It was like the minute that McLean started giving him credit for his career but calling him out for his passivity and unexplainable struggles that something was lit under him last night. He looked so much more like his best self - the player who became our career leading - scorer for the majority of the rest of that game. It was bittersweet for me to see Tres break the record. On the one hand, I like the kid and what he accomplished was impressive. On the other, he passed my all-time favorite Beav, easily the most gifted and tenacious that I ever saw play for us, to get that record. Nobody in their right mind would suggest that Tres was the player that GP was at every level, but nobody with any understanding of what Tres accomplished can deny him his dues. Throw your perceptions of the kid’s dad and his coaching deficiencies and give this young man his props. He had some uncharacteristically emotional flair ups during what must have been a ridiculously frustrating senior year for the most part just given his standards for himself, but I feel like he probably had just had it with the rollercoaster and displayed normal human responses. He’s not a robot, and his own inconsistency as well as that of this team - for most of his time at OSU - would be enough to mess with anyone’s resolve. Doesn’t give a license to blow up and get T’s, but I find myself empathizing with him a little more. It can’t be easy being the coach’s kid, even when there are people complaining about his preferential treatment from the old man, and it’s got to be even tougher watching his dad struggle and he criticized so much, whether accurately or otherwise.
