As much as I would love to see us land Bibby, I just assume she'll follow Schafer to Texas. Could be a landing spot for DS as well.

Coach Faulker has now begun following Bibby as well. Hopefully there is some mutual interest there. She would be a great fit.

The Beavs may be showing interest in 6'3" Ellie Mack, who has been playing at Bucknell. If so, she would be a grad transfer.

Not sure about her game, but I assume she's a 4, so it would very much be a position of need. Just checked her stats, holy smokes, 43% from 3, 81% foul shooter on good volume. Yes Please!

Mack was the 2020 Patriot League POTY. She is a neuroscience major, we should have some applicable graduate programs.

Looking at it from Mack's point of view. It's very unlikely she would transfer to another program unless it was clear to her that she has a real good chance of being a starter... No way a conference POY is gonna transfer to a program where she is likely a 6th or 7th player....
Assuming this is true - where could she start, or at least get a lot of playing time..... Corosdale, Jones and Goodman are locks for starting next year... Morris and Mitrovic should be ready for floor time. Goforth is an unknown, but a likely starter or 6th player...
Some of you analyze these situations far better than I do - so what do you think? Where would Mack get minutes? GO BEAVS !!

With her ability to shoot, I think you could play her at the 3 offensively with Taya and Taylor and not lose much, especially if you played zone, a lot like Oregon did last year. The other big option would be to play her and TC together in a smaller line-up were all of the players on the floor would be 3 point shooters. That would be a very good line-up offensively, and not lose much on defense with Taya's ability to guard taller players. A lot would depends on can Taya or Mack play the 3, and how does it all mesh together.

This tweet made it seem like there was no possible way Ellie Mack could have gone back to Bucknell for a fifth year:

Not only is her mother following the entire staff, she is now following all of these Beaver twitter sites: Go Beavs @beaverwbb Osu Women's Hoop News Oregon State Beavers I'd say there is some major interest. Certainly Bucknell is not the Pac-12, but 15 points per game and 7+ rebounds leads me to believe she could be a nice addition to the team. I've been a bit to lazy to watch video of her though, so I'm looking at numbers only.

Taylor Mikesell from Maryland is yet another player in the portal. Sharp shooting guard. Played PG as a Fr. but mostly off the ball as a soph. Would have 2 year of eligibility left, but not a grad transfer so would have to sit a year unless they go thru w/ the proposal about 1 time immediate eligibility for transfers.

I haven't been one to follow the Maryland program that closely, other than the fact that they have been/are a very good WBB program. I could be wrong, but they do seem to have a lot of transfers in/out. So far this off season, they have 3 players in the transfer portal looking to get out, and two transfers who have chosen Maryland. Both those players, Katie Benzan and Chloe Bibby, are players we've talked about here.

I don't think anyone else is even close. Not sure what's going on there, but it's been the norm for a number of years.
