1-800-WHO-CARES . Did not watch or even pay attention until I knew time would be over and check the result and the box. When you give your opponent TWENTY more shots because of a huge disparity of TO's and ORB's WTF do you expect. Both of those are a result of of head up your ass and lack of hustle. Both are on coaching.

In addition to head up the orifice and lack of hustle you can add lack of talent which is also WTs problem

I coach my son's team. We turn the ball over constantly and fail to block out on the regular. You know what we spend a majority of our practices on? Rebounding and ball control.
I know, I'm not recruiting kids but you could say that our team is fairly limited by available kids in the area who want to play basketball, which I think is fairly similar to trying to recruit kids to come to Oregon State.

Also I'm fairly perplexed by the two big knocks on Wayne Tinkle:
He can't recruit He should be winning more with the talent he has.

So, wait... if you can't recruit higher level talent, you also shouldn't be able to develop it to be competitive to the level of play? You think as a coach you'd best have at least one of those skills! And... you're analogy of coaching your son's youth(?) team and practice not making a difference actually may be true at that level. But, with D1 athletes it'll get you fired. Slightly... just barely different situation! But, of course seemingly the same results as you're having.
