You said his Dad’s behavior rubbed off on him. That was not the case. Try again! Dad's behavior would wear on him. As in season, career... zero to do with these T's. This time go read. Dad screwed him up all the way over the 2000 career point mark.

Wonder if some of you managed salespeople if you would say something like "well salesman you didn't get the sale but you tried hard and that's what really counts" You wouldn't be a sales manager for long.

It’s (the team) turning into a train wreck. I’m not sure we would/could hire anyone better than Tink, but it appears to me it’s time to change engineers. Beilien is available!

You can't get big by thinking small. Sometimes you get lucky if you ask the hot lady for a date. If you don't take a chance you'll never know.

Cost us how? We’ve been to the tournament once in 30 years. It’s not like he’s running this program into the ground. 20 point losses to Arizona in the desert were happening before he got here, and they’ll happen to the next guy too. Again, we’ve had .500 or better seasons in 4 of the past 5 and are one win away this year from 5 in 6. Y’all can save your “if you’re fine with .500 seasons....” nonsense too. I’m not happy with this season at all, but it’s still better than where we were. If we make the NIT this season, that’s the first time in like 14 years! Tinkle is only failing relative to the expectations his program has created. This is called "normalizing mediocrity". Comparing the past to justify the present, stating it basically can't get better because?? And you’re stating it will get better because? You’re using a hypothetical future of great Beaver basketball to justify making a change that you keep telling everyone you’re not calling for.

You've never read one word from me guaranteeing anything with a new coach. I've said that IF you want OSU to get to that elusive next level, WT isn't the guy. Interpret all you want. I know what I believe. And, I also will never keep excusing consistently inconsistent play. And, we're not over .500 when it counts. If you want to keep stressing 10 wins (this season) vs a 300+ SOS in the nonconference... keep on. But, the recruiting, losing recruits, player development, in game inconsistencies... it's coaching... PERIOD.

Wow! Just under two pages of comments on today’s game. That’s pretty sad. Glad I was busy teaching.

I am not a basketball coach nor was I a good basketball player. I do know when coaches have no clue about what they are doing...
Tinkle qualifies! No clue at all; no consistency, no plan, no control. Can't recruit and cannot coach his way out of any paper bag! I am totally disgusted.
If you don't like my opinion, then just wait until next year or the next year, or the year after that. This team will not improve!

Defense is something not to behold. Their shifts are out of wack. Leaving gaps and pores. Girls have this pretty mastered

AZ coach doesn’t think Tres should have been ejected, He said "unfortunate" not that he shouldn't have. And, stated in today's rules that has to be called. Otherwise praised Tres profusely. Not like two T's is considered optional. After getting one, even unjustly, you can't throw elbows. And, the comments about the unfair first T. Not sure why T at all, but, it wasn't unfair. It was assessed a double T. Dumb ass call, but both teams involved, both penalized. Hurt OSU later... star player vs role player. But, star did something stupid in a still winnable game @49-40. The 2nd T was well deserved. That wasn't a basketball move and intentional. I don't think I've seen the "hook and hold" on a rebound called flagrant in one of our games this season. What's the college rules now days on a T vs flagrant vs flagrant 2? You'd think first T was just a double common foul. Same with call on Hollins... how is that flagrant?

I guess I'd have a tough time telling the arguably most successful salesman I've had in 30 years or so that HE'S the problem. I'd probably somewhere in the back of mind think I should look at the entire picture and see if my organization is doing what it takes for a coach to have success. That doesn't mean I'd never fire them, but I think firing is not always the solution. Are you suggesting the AD should dump the coach to save his job?

If your so disgusted with Tinkle and the team then why continue watching and posting about it? Seems like you'd be happier not following them

“If we make the nit this season....” Who the f%#* cares about the nit? Really, the ni f%#*ing t? Maybe a couple of years ago to build experience, but this is a veteran god damn team. Hoping to make the nit is a losing mentality, not mediocrity. He'll be happy then. Of course depending on other teams, conference upsets, etc... OSU prob is in NIT from sites I've seen. Unless we tank and go 15-16 or the NC SOS is heavily weighted, I'm betting 17 Ws gets OSU in with 4-6th seed. Yippy... and to top it off we get to read about what a great accomplishment it is... first time since... 2 postseasons in 6... blah blah blah.

I didn't watch the game. I actually forgot about it. But I do notice the first two officials named generally don't do Pac-12 games. The first, Bo Boroski, is obviously well thought of. He did a final 4 game last year. His schedule is mostly Big10 with a few MAC, Horizon and Big East (in Chicago and Omaha) games thrown in. The second guy, Paul Szelc, has a similar schedule except for two games at Clemson and an Atlantic 10 game. Was their style different? I don't remember a Tinkle (Tres) technical over his career. I'm always fascinated by these guys schedules. I know they get on lists (A, B, C, maybe D) and if you are on the A lists you get first shot at picking your games. I'm guessing they wanted a weekend away from the midwest or rust belt. I'm interested to see if they have another Arizona or SoCal game on Saturday.
