Oregon State goes for its first regular season sweep of Arizona in a decade, when second-year head coach Craig Robinson beat the Wildcats twice by a combined 11 points.
Prior to 2010, Oregon State had not swept Arizona since 1983.
Oregon State did not beat Arizona before the Wildcats joined the Pac-10 in 1978. The Beavers swept the Wildcats the first five years after Arizona joined the conference and in 2010. Those wins represent the six times that Oregon State won in Tucson.
1983 was a seminal year for Arizona, as Lute Olson was hired to coach in Tucson. Olson went 12-2 (.857) against Miller and 32-5 (.865) against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse of competitive Oregon State basketball: Jim Anderson, Eddie Payne, Ritchie McKay, and Jay John.
Oregon State's 82-65 win over Arizona last month was the Beavers first by more than 10 points in more than 30 years. With a second win, the Beavers would notch their most lopsided sweep of Arizona since at least 1983.

Missed shots and turnovers.
Pathetic.

10 turnovers in 15 minutes.
Looks like turnoverosis has infected the men’s team too.

Our refusal to use a PG very often is killing us today. ET is a very talented player. But he’s never ever been a PG. Terrible ball movement, many unforced turnovers, too much standing around and the usual lack of 3 points shooting. Tres in onference was 36% overall and 21% from 3. He’s even worse than that so far today. ZR our slow footed shooter has had some nice passes but I don’t think he’s even scored yet. So in other words.....more of the same lol
