We are going to be lamenting some combination of A&M, Utah(ugh), WSU, UW, LA trip, and CAL. Win 1 or 2 of those games and the post season sure looks more attainable. How does a team beat the top 3 teams in a conference and lose to the bottom 3 or 4? I know...meet the Beavs.

Maybe. But today I'm enjoying the last two wins instead of dwelling on the past.

Don't you think Utah is looking at last nights game and asking themselves how could we lose to "those" guys?

Gotta look forward. Still have opportunities for about 3 Q1 wins. I don’t have much hope, but I am a Beaver, so boys, let’s sack it up and ride!
Oh, and I don’t give a s%#t about any nit talk. Big Dance or bust.
GO BEAVERS!!!

Yeah sadly a lot of the conference sees us as one of the bottom feeders.....a team you're supposed to beat. The announcers of the ASU-Stanford game last night made some comment like, "Any team can beat any other on this league...if you don't bring it every night, those teams like Cal, Oregon State and UCLA can rise up and beat ya." I was like wow.....pretty eye opening that that's how we're seen by a lot of folks around the conference....and this was supposed to be a tourney team.
But what's past is past....gotta beat Colorado again now.

So they look at the standings before the game, pick the bottom team names, and say stuff like that. What they SHOULD be saying, and some have, is that OSU is under performing and is a very dangerous team. That other teams are over performing and that nothing is guaranteed in this league.

UCLA is 6-2 in its last eight. The players who care are starting to buy in to Cronin's system. UCLA has premier talent. Anyone who views them as a gimmie at this point is not paying attention. So I guess that would include most ESPN basketball announcers, who can't find their a**hole from 2nd base if the ACC or Big Ten isn't involved.
