Sometimes our best player forces it on Offense. Isn't this almost universally true on every single team in college and pro basketball? And, if they are on a good, great, elite team it's natural for best players to take over. But, those type teams have trusted other options... typically several that will step up numerous times over a season. When such a player is on a team that is maybe mediocre, middling it is far more apparent when they force issues. When that same team has one other option that is remotely consistent, even more so. When both are sons of coaches of that team... it becomes glaringly obvious! Is it the players fault? I don't think so and don't think the poster implied that. Could have meant it, but... So... it falls back on the staff to not only incorporate others but to build trust in teammates.

Like I said.

Like I said. And, so was the other poster. They just didn't care if they were "right". I only was stating why to some it is frustrating enough to post about even if it is a regularity. Having a All-League type player with inconsistent other options. Or not enough to go with him is discouraging. Far more so when the team is underachieving. And, equally normal is the best player on an underachieving team taking some criticism. Fair, unfair... it happens. So... never said or implied you were wrong. It's a message board full of opinions, most here vent more than wanting vindication. But to each their own. Hopefully WBB saves the lost weekend on this board.
