And the roller coaster continues. We are coming to a curve do we go back up or descend again? Isn't this fun? NOT.

Kudos to you MBB followers. I just don't have the energy. The Payne, McKay and John era's siphoned most of my hope and the Robinson era finished it off. Of course Jimmy supplied the hose.

Sometimes I think about how if they just sucked it would be easier and I wouldn't care as much or get as frustrated with each loss. Year 1 was really fun when I didn't even expect 10 wins. I guess it's an OK problem to have? Not completely sucking? Lol

We all need to come to the conclusion that we suck. Colorado and Arizona are aberrations. The truth is in a&m, Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona state, Washington.

I don’t have anything wise to say. We were schooled last night. WT was schooled last night. He doesn’t have answers.

Nobody wanted to shoot last night. Extra passes that didn't need to be made. Reichle pump faked every time he got the ball, which only succeeded in letting the zone get back into position after a skip pass. Aside from Tres going 11-11 at the line, the other guys went 3-11. We lost by 8. I know you can't expect every free throw to go in, but still, it affects the game. SMM had more rebounds in 9 minutes than KK had in 30. Tres was 2-12, but I'll give him a little bit of a pass in that nobody else wanted to shoot the ball, so it ended up in his hands with little time on the shot clock and everyone kind of looking at him like "do that thing you do where you bail us out, ok?" Again, so many possessions where guys passed up a decent look at the hoop to pass it to a guy with an equally decent or worse look and fewer seconds on the shot clock.
Now, I didn't see the beginning of the game, but I know we started 4-20, so it could've been coaching telling them to get the ball inside and the players taking it way too literally. Honestly, it's refreshing to see college kids make the same sort of mistakes my sixth grader makes and know that some things are universal. Noticed it in the Blazer game too when Whiteside was horribly out of position on defense and offered zero help on a Harden drive. Just basic basketball stuff that every coach teaches from 3rd grade on that players just do not do for whatever reason.
Hard to throw a perfect game every time out. Go get 'em Saturday.

Hard to throw a perfect game every time out? What happened last night is who we are.

One minor quibble.....it seems like Kelly continues to be king of missing the chippy or lay in when fouled, then misses one or both free throws....that's a big momentum swing and it happens once or twice a game. He works hard to get the three point play, the ball invariably curls off the rim, then he proceeds to miss free throws. So frustrating.

One more thing I don't quite understand from the game yesterday, UW sat in the zone the entire game yet Lucas didn't really see any significant playing time till later in the 2nd half and only gets 7 minutes? Why keep your best shooter on the bench the entire game against a team daring you to shoot the ball?
K I'm done talking about the UW game, on to WSU. Maybe they'll have partied too hard after the win against uo and we'll catch them hung over tomorrow. Announcers at the end of that game did say "Washington State has never lost a party".

Lucas is still a liability on the defensive end. That is why he's not playing more. He also is listed at 6'3", but there is no way he is that tall. He's got to work on more ways to get his shot off against taller defenders if he wants to be effective. Would still like to see Hunt get even more minutes. We got nothing out of ZR and AH last night.

Well, an OK last minute? And we rebounded well. That's about all I have to say that's positive. We've let a freshman getting his first career start, who's made 3 FG all season, hit 4 3s in the first half. How many more times are we going to let a complete nobody have the game of their season against us? Its old. Kind of like our history with first time starting QB's/RB's in football over the past decade or so.

We all need to come to the conclusion that we suck. Colorado and Arizona are aberrations. The truth is in a&m, Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona state, Washington. The conclusion that I've come to is that we need to reschedule our remaining conference games for only weekends. This team does not play well on weekdays. Problem solved.

I don’t have anything wise to say. We were schooled last night. WT was schooled last night. He doesn’t have answers. Oh come on, let the board decide what's "wise", a few here always do! Lol But, to me what you posted is not only wise, but very succinct. Covers about everything!
