Having the punter spike the ball was a smart move (the kicker was also on the field, as the RB). The punter is also the holder, so if something went wrong, there was still time to unpile and get the FG away, without having to rush the holder and kicker onto the field. Oh yeah, don't disagree at all.- great move. I was just thinking of that hold your breath moment of having your punter actually take a snap under center with the game on the line. Enjoy seeing coaches think outside the box a bit for a change. Same with Vrabel milking 2 minutes off the clock and Belicheck nearly having an aneurysm.
