I don't understand all the consternation. blowcheese disagreed with the post pure and simple. He didn't get personal, he just disagreed with it. He is entitled to his opinion, wrong as he may be, and entitled to post such. Let him be. Let's argue and disagree like civilized human beings. Hell, when I was a union goon, my arguments with management were more civil than some of the exchanges here.

I'll miss Blocheese. His nonsensical, steam-of-consciousness diatribes were one of the more entertaining things on here. Dude has a sense of humor. Big plus in my book.

Blowcheese is one of us, and there's not many of us, AND he's a believer, a true believer. He's been around forever. Yep, he's zany and a bit of a contrarian at times. And the nature of message boards is kinda that people come and go. But he's one of us, he's been one of us for a long damn time, and I'm sad to see him go. I've got an architect with the VA that I work with, and he's super eccentric and definitely a pain in the ass. But as one of my colleagues put it, "Yeah, he's a weirdo. But he's MY WEIRDO." Blowcheese was our weirdo. Also, this type of s%#t is why I don't miss running a message board. It's a pain in the ass, because you walk this fine line between permitting utter chaos and chasing people off. So TheGlove thanks for being willing to deal with the headache so we have a place to chat about the Beavs. |

Seems to me like a drama queen move on his part. Maybe he's just fed up with me or maybe he was just having a bad day...

Drama queen or not, completely in the dark on the why. But, also thought I saw a post by him under "blowcheese" after this thread was started?! But, from his recent postings it makes no sense he'd leave after being ribbed? I mean that's all he did the last few weeks. I'll just say that his posts the last month(?) or so were off kilter compared to his past. I'd venture to say almost 95% of his recent posts were silly quips, comments, tending to be very argumentative that lent zero information to the topic. Most had zero info, just making fun of a post. That was not his typical MO. He usually provided input and thoughts about the programs and players. To be honest I just blocked him about 2 weeks(?) ago. I was thinking his account had been hacked and he couldn't get logged back in?! |
