Turner, G Willits, H Willits and Doyle into the semis. Gordon dropped a tough one in quarters. 6-4 loss in SV...
Turner has my early vote for most improved this year.

Gordon was about :15 seconds of RT away from winning that quarter final match. Oh so close.

Hunter Willits and Colt Doyle take 2nd. Grant Willits and Devan Turner place 4th. All close matches... HW and Doyle lost in sudden victory. Lane Stigall took 6th at 149.
Turner wrestled eventual winner Bridges from Wyoming pretty tough in the semis. Lost 4-2 and nearly pulled off the upset. Bridges beat him something like 19-5 last year.

Santos Cantu would be one transfer... ship has sailed on Cantu but I sure hope we are recruiting the other guys. Soph James Rowley lost by 1 to Cael Valencia in Reno in the semis (little brother of Anthony/Zahid and ranked #3 in the nation). Would think we have a shot since they train w/Lara

It's too bad osu isn't in the mix for the top wrestlers in the state anymore. In my youth, osu was home grown with great wrestlers top to bottom...Plourd,Beilenburg,Harris,knorr,Ziebart,Etc. All of those guys were home grown. Now we can't even get a sniff with our current coaching situation for the top in state kids. Won't change until a coaching change is made. Is Zalesky on a lifetime contract? Makes me wonder...
