Speaking of A&M, they just lost big to Florida State, so we should pass them in the rankings tomorrow.

As nwhoopfan--- pointed out. They did not look ready to play before both games, but they still blew out their first opponent. A&M ( yes I know Carter did not play) still did not look as good as they were projected to be early in the season. Not being ready reflects a lack of concentration and complacency which often comes from over-confidence - the cause of a lot of upsets. I concur with nwhoopfan as to believing the team was more focused on having a good time than taking care of business. Perhaps they need to stay away from warm beachy areas in the future at this time of year. I disagree. I don't think "looking ready to play", "complacency", "over-confidence" or "having a good time", had anything to do with a 6 point loss to Texas A&M; A team that matched OSU's season record, finished 3rd in their conference (SEC) like OSU did, and ended up 2 spots lower in the final polls (12/10). It was a very even matchup. Those 2 teams play 10 times, the stats say you'd be close to a 5/5 split. I hope the team enjoys their trip to Lahaina in a couple of weeks. The worst thing a coach can do on a trip like that is lock the players up in their hotel rooms. |

We got beat by a really good A&M team who played a really good game. Chennedy Carter caught fire early and we spent much of the game playing catch up. When Chennedy Carter gets hot, she is really, really tough to stop, and she did. A&M shot 47% from three. We didn't play our best, but Katie and Aleah both had really good games, and Jo was solid.
If Mik doesn't shoot 1-6 on her FTs, we likely win. I don't think the TAMU game is a fair comparison to what happened against Liberty.

Has anyone found a replay of the Liberty game???..
On YouTube there is a 45 replay of the game but it requires some kind of sign in which I cannot decode....
I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask....Anything out there??.
