I'm really looking forward to the next game on Friday, Nov. 29th, 11:00am, at Miami. (TV - ACC Network). Miami will probably still be a top 20 team despite its loss at DePaul. Miami lost because it committed 13 more turnovers and hit 11 fewer 3 point baskets than DePaul. Mompremier will be more than a handful for Jones, Brown, and Morris. Maybe the 3 of them can take turns and wear her down a bit. Miami's small, quick guards will cause problems as well I think. Miami will be OSU's 3rd top 20 ranked opponent (as of current ranking, not the ranking when they played). This will be more than any other team, so far at least. Should be a great test on the road! My prediction - OSU 70, Miami 65.
slight correction, "Miami will be OSU's 3rd top 22 (not top 20) ranked opponent..." Missouri State is presently ranked 22, thus technically not a "top 20" team.

Mik played with Montpremier on the USA Pan Am Games squad. Mik will certainly be familiar with her game.

So will the game be streamed here? Is there a way to watch it?

Miami average attendance last year was 1,410, so a rabid fan base, like at Gill, shouldn't be much of an issue.

So will the game be streamed here? Is there a way to watch it? I doubt you can see it free or otherwise (live or live stream) without a cable or streaming package that includes the ACCNX. Maybe you can subscribe to such a package just before the game and cancel the package shortly after.

So will the game be streamed here? Is there a way to watch it? You'll have to pay for a month of Sling Orange ($25) plus Sports Extra ($10) plus taxes and fees. Then cancel before it renews. Either that or find a rich friend who doesn't mind freeloaders and have him pay your way. Go ahead and get it now and you can watch Syracuse beat the ducks today! (Well, after the first couple minutes, it's evident that Syracuse has no chance vs the Ucks. Watching the Ucks for the first time this year, it is also evident that they don't have the elite athleticism of the great UConn teams of the past. They may deserve the #1 ranking right now just because there's not a lot of competition out there, but they are vulnerable.) PS: It looks like DIRECTV, Google Fiber, Hulu Live TV, Optimum, PlayStation Vue, Spectrum, Suddenlink, TVision, Verizon Fios, and YouTubeTV may also carry the ACCN networks. The advantage of Sling TV is that they carry the Pac-12 networks, but even they don't appear to support the various teams' own streaming Pac-12 channels.

Watching the DePaul vs Miami game, I was not impressed with Miami. Missouri State is a far better team than Miami. While game is in Miami, OSU is a much more talented and experienced team. No guarantees when on the road, but I feel great about our leadership on this team (Mik, Aleah, Destiny, Kat). As long our freshman don't play intimidated, OSU should be fine.

Mompremier is a very good player, but it's not like they haven't seen better already in their short time in Corvallis.

Playing on the road against a quality team will be new experience for the freshmen, and a challenge for the team. It is imperative that Jones and Brown don't get into early foul trouble. They have to be careful with an experienced player and known commodity like Mompremier. Hands up, move the feet.

Miami is going to be looking to "get right" at home after losing to DePaul on the road.
A chance to beat a top 10 team for them, at home, and right the ship. This has the feel of a tough game.

Yes, it will no doubt be tough. But I am sure that our team will be as motivated as Miami or more so, given that their goal is the Final Four and they know that they can’t afford to lose games like this if they are to get the tournament seeding that will give them the best chance. They have a relatively large amount of time to prepare and Rueck’s teams tend to be very disciplined and focused on the road. I like our chances of coming out of it with a win.

Good point, definitely playing on the road will be different than the friendly confines of Gill.

I know you're right about their level of motivation. I hope you're right about the outcome. I'm not sure I love the long lay off before this game, but my biggest concern is our youth/inexperienced players vs officiating on the road. Very different deal than playing at home. If we are allowed to play Miami straight up, then I really like our chances as well.

We are 5 games plus Olympic team into the season or so. They aren't freshmen any more This team is just a bit more time on the floor from some serious dissection of even very good teams, and I have a feeling this long stretch of practice between the "Scream" and Miami is going to allow the bigs to step it up.
