Savannah's team (St. Francis, Georgia) is playing in a powerhouse tourney in S. Carolina the past few days.... They play tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 21) in the consolation championship game against Mercer County, Kentucky. In their 1st game Savannah scored 18 points in a loss to Highland Prep (Florida). In their 2nd game Savannah scored 27 in a win over Keenan (S.C.)
Don't know much about S.S.'s high school team, but there is some darn good competition in this tourney...She appears to be the dominant player on the St. Francis team.... Maybe someone who follows closer can fill us in a bit......But from a distance it looks like Savannah Samuels is a solid player - maybe even more than that.🏀 GO BEAVS !!

No. 24 for the grey team (Samuel) looked pretty good offensively! She must have been high scorer for St. Francis.

thanks Newduke, I always forget to mention things like the players # that we are watching for. HS games are a little hard to watch, even the good teams / players make silly mistakes. Scouting HS players takes an expertise to see past the HS level issues and figure out the potential. Those of you on here that are. or have been couches, I applaud you for that ability.
