Intentional walk attempt...throws a wild pitch. Run scores. Wow. 3-0. Sweet fancy Moses.
Now they're going to pitch him...and give up the base hit. 4-0. Can't believe what I'm hearing.

I lost connection and my entire post for T6. We got a 1 out double and nothing else.
B6 and Thompson still pitching.
Fly ball for out #1.
Double into the corner. 9th hit.
Grounder to third...wild throw from Grenier to KJ...get by him and rattles around. Runner on 3rd scores. Batter all the way to third.
5-0 Kal. 4th error of the series (2 on Grenier), a pass ball and a wild pitch to boot.
Walk. Runners at corners. Looks like they are gonna pull Thompson...and they do.
Britton (LH) is summoned.
K for Britton. 2 away.
Pop fly OUT. Britton was dealing.

Not sure what "plan" or who's, but honestly for those of us who've been around baseball and Beaver baseball more specifically...
-did you really watch this team thru the first 10-18 games and see a top 10 team?
-did you see this pitching staff in the current state as one of a Pac11 champ?
-did you see all the HS/youth/inexperience coming right in and sustaining a high level of play without set backs in Pac11 play?
High poll #s can be nice,but PC was openly honest before this series. He did not see us as more than top 15 or so. Lots of growth potential, but this pitching staff is not good enough to absorb poor D and 2 runs in 18 innings.
Character check tomorrow.

I guess we used up all of our runs last weekend. Momma said there would be days like this.
I hope the friendly confines of Goss inspire them this coming week. Five games in seven days, starting Monday.
And what's up with Parker? His return is supposed to usher in a bunch of wins. So much for that superstition.
