Link won’t paste for some reason. Only significant info is that Kat and Jelena are not yet ready to practice.

Experienced, talented, senior led team now with great size/height too! I say "they-could-go-all-the-way!"
[p.s. The brief, topical clips like "let's get it" on twitter are commendable efforts, especially the film editing and musical choice. Solid job by folks in OSU's Athletic Communications and a nice way to publicize, highlight and inform the team's ongoing journey. Good promotional tool...keep up the good work!]

osubeavers.com article on the first day Linkp.s. Don't be fooled by the very inaccurate info just below the text of the article (under the heading "PLAYERS MENTIONED"). Nearly every player's year in school is wrongly listed.

So once again, we're all asking "So why in hell isn't AA able to play if she's able to go through all of these drills at full speed?". Makes no sense. If she could croak in a game, she could croak in these drills. Just sayin'... (But her continued interest in playing does give me hope that maybe, someday ....)

Well, we really don't know from the pics if she is participating in the wind sprints, etc. do we? Plus, we don't know how often she is being re-evaluated by doctors/experts on her condition, do we? Once a week? Once a month? Once every 3 months? So, who's to say she might or might not be cleared to play in 1, 2, 3, 4 months...?

The drills you are seeing her participate in are not “contact drills” which she was forbidden to partake in last year. If you had seen evidence of her participating in contact drills, your question and comment would be valid. I seriously doubt she has a highly elevated heart rate in the kind of drills she is participating in. When I did research on what prevented athletes from participating in contact drills last year, heart issues (specifically arrhythmias) were the main thing that came up.

What the hell difference does it make? She would have more "contact" tripping and falling to the ground in one of these drills than she would ever get from an opposing player in a game. I don't buy it.

You seem to enjoy being galactically ignorant just for the fun of it. Setting that aside, do yourself a favour and pay attention to this.
Certain heart conditions are especially vulnerable to rough contact, and to getting bounced around the way one does in a basketball game.
Connective tissue that keeps arteries in place during normal to moderate athletic activity can be severed during rough contact, especially high velocity body collisions.
For some medical conditions running basketball drills is like driving at 65 or 70. Adding contact makes it like driving at 180 or 190......
Whether you "don't buy it" or not, that's the deal..... GO BEAVS !!
